23 Apr 2012 10:06:38 Rory MacDonald the 22yr old. I cant believe how he absolutely dominated our English guy. Che is a very strong competitor and very underrated. Macdonald made him look poor. The other young McDonald aswell took Torres out with ease! Promising futures for them both. Also like to mention big ben rothwell, took a good couple of punches, and threw completely through them to put Schaub flat on his back fighting nothing but air! How lean did he look too! HW division looks awesome, and like you, i cannot wait for JJ to make the step up as most of the top HWs are still relatively young! Strabs At the end of his career Jon Jones will be considered as greatest of all time. No doubt Jon Jones is an awesome athlete but he didn't toy with Rashad, Suga is also a helluva fighter and if Jones could have finished him he would have but he couldn't. That said he completely dominated and deserved his win, I think he'll despatch Henderson with ease and Evans will rematch Machida and beat him to set up Jones v Evans 2.

I'm with you on Dan Hardy he needs this win big time, really hope he gets it. Can't wait to see Paul Sass fight again, he is deadly on the ground. Do santos has the power to ko anyone in the division, it will be a good fight though, i think junior for a 2nd round ko, valasquez v Mir will be beasting, both good wrestlers an Mir is lethal at subs, if the fight stays standing Cain for me, again 2nd round ko , big country could be in a bit of trouble, is hardy on the main card im sure I seen 4-5 all HW All main card to be heavyweight fights!

21 Feb 2012 22:57:05 After seeing most of edgars fights and a few of hendersons i would have to say its frankies fight he looks the real deal great wrestler hes nice with the hands his work rate is unreal not to mention his foot work but then again this is the ufc 1 punch can change everything but my money would be on edgar dont think hendersons ready yet could be wrong though Henderson has looked amazing in UFC! Very hard to submit and is always looking to finish! Seen his fight with pettis in wec and it was a gd fight 2 been disappointed with Pettis so far in UFC! But think Henderson is ready and he will b a lot bigger than edger on sat! Edger losses but goes dwn to figh aldo? Yaay it worked again i started another discussion we need to keep using this or it will go Only time will tell i guess but im going with edgar
29 Jan 2012 10:54:56 I agree bisping well had those 1st two rounds, hate sonnen, really looking forward to condit vs diaz as u saw by my earlier post Bisping was robbed, no two ways about it. Clearly won the first 2 rounds in my opinion, the only thing Sonnen managed to do for the first 10 minutes was take him down and let Bisping get straight back up.

I have to admit, I liked Nick Diaz just because he is such a good fighter, and his crazy antics and chat meant you were always talking about him, but I lost all respect for him after he spat the dummy and claimed he was retiring because he lost. I watched the fight with the missus last night, and we both agreed that Condit did enough to win it. I think Diaz's style of taking a little bit of power off his punches hurt him in this fight because he didn't connect nearly as often as he usually does, so there was practically no damage to Condit. I knew he's whine about losing the fight, but to give up totally because of it reeks of immaturity.

They need to make this fight happen its wot ppl wanna see Jones is a mirror image an it needs to happen please Dana white ur the boss so make it sooner rather than later Dana already said this fight never going to happen ... in press conference for Evans vrs Davis , he said the spider is 37 and people forget that, and already has his next 2 possible opponents arranged if everyone wins fights and stays injury free The spider may be 37 but look at Couture he was still dominating at 43 and hopkins in Boxing 46 so for a true athlete he should still have at least 3-4 years left at th top level so why cant the fight happen although you have to favour Jones with the natural size on his side although i feel skill wise no one touches the spider. Jones v Silva will never happen, Jones is a lot bigger than Silva for a start. He's already said he wants to go to HW within a few years so to make a catchweight fight between him and Silva mean 195lbs which will not happen. Silva is ending his career whereas Jones is just starting, it's unfortunate because I'd love to see them both fight in their primes against one another, even though you could argue that Silva is looking better than ever, this fight will not happen. Yea it wont happen but ufc shude do every thing they can to make it happen
14 Dec 2011 18:42:16 Krav Maga is probably one of the best for self defence, its quick and teaches you to leave the scene as quickly as possible scanning for threats, there are other arts you can learn once you have mastered this that will compliment it, ie Boxing, Muay Thai, JU Jitsu. Any Martial Art or fight based training would give you a confidence that would more than likely stop the chavs and bullies from making you feel the need to learn how to defend yourself Is wing chun good for CQC? {Ed001's Note - that is what it is designed for, so it should be!}

07 Dec 2011 12:16:39 Bisping has no chance against the Spider!! He always falls at the elite fighters. Bispings a good fighter but hes not in champion shape, anderson silva not only has a supreme boxing advantage but the use of his unpredictable kicks and moves make him virtually impossible to stop hes the best fighter ive ever seen moat consecutive aswell long live the spider! Respect to bisping for destroying that big headed yank Hope bisping gets his ass whooped. I lived in clitheroe and Hung around in same niebourhood and grew up with him beating on my mates. He was a bully but was hard and no one messed. Can't believe the bloke has made it so big when he was a rite nob when he was younger. I felt Bisping was to strong for Miller although i've enjoyd watching Miller on Ultimate fighter rather than Bisping and as for Bisping fighting Spider i'd rather see Spider fight Bones as they have similar styles Well Bisping is fighting Damien Maia first, if he beats him he'll have another top MW first, possibly the loser of the Sonnen v Munoz fight. If he overcomes those two fights then he'll be in line for a title shot. Personally I think he'll beat Maia and become a top 5 MW but he'll get no higher. He's not as good as 1. A Silva 2. Sonnen 3. Munoz 4. Belfort 5. W Silva so he needs the Maia win. Bisping is a good solid fighter, but he will never have that belt, he just isnt quite good enough against the top class opponents... Miller was a missmatch on what planet did anyone think miller would win, DIAZ DIAZ DIAZ DIAZ, gonna be champ veeeery soon, he will fight every couple of months and defend the belt against GSP when he decides to man up Diaz will never beat GSP, he's not in GSP's league as unfortunately no one in the WW division is.

What channel as I've checked every channel on Sky for next saturday and it's not advertised on any channel It will never be PPV in the UK and if it was, it would fail miserably and wouldn't last long before being switched back to ESPN or similar.

I wanted to ask them if the Bruce Lee move where you can pull out an heart was 'In theory' possible. Joe trained with Bruce Lee regularly early on in his career so it may have come up in conversation? I guess my boys Sensei may know the answer to that? Perhaps it's only me that cares ;) I watched a programme where it said that it was 'In theory' possible as the blow will crack the sternum and the fingers will gauge open the whole, then the rest is easy, but they reckon it could be done, but you would need to be extremely quick & powerful. They also said that much practice would have needed to be done, meaning some poor buggers or animals being the guinea pigs. Good one Ed ;) Definitely mate, well back to football :) They had around 30 kids and perhaps 20 adults to chat to who train up there, then there were the parents. I couldn't have taken up too much of their time individually. Nice to shake their hands and chat to them though. It will mean a lot to my son when he grows up and realises who he has had the chance to meet. The fact that they are Americans makes it more special as it's hard to meet them unless you travel there. Joe Lewis is still very stocky, still a V shape. Bill is short and thin, Jeff has his own school in the US. Joe is very strict, whereas Bill is a joker and plays with the kids. Missus and lad have just come back, I have seen the signed belt, but Bill's is signed by his nick name, cannot make it out. But £35 well spent IMO, that pays towards their travel. I wont lie to you mate, I had only ever heard of Joe Lewis before a week ago. I made out the S & U, but then it was a bit of a squiggle from there on. Did he fight Ali? I had no idea about that. I could find out if it's a tour that they are doing mate? I could find out if they are hitting a Martial arts hut near you? It is currently on tv guide for espn ( in Ireland anyway) but still doesn't confirm that on UFC.com so here's hoping It is on espn this weekend the fox events will be shown on setanta or premier sports, fox do not have exclusive rights to all the fights just to some thank god because the coverage at the weekend as a total disgrace.

Also they said stann was next in line if he beat sonnen so how dosnt it work the other way u idiot! He beat the s**t out of silva first time out. Was very unlucky to get caught in triangle with seconds left in the last round and you say he does not deserve a second shot. Thats just stupid.
